We are excited to announce that will be running this event as a virtual symposium in March 2021.

The 2021 Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Austin Health Perioperative Medicine Symposium “Exploring new heights of excellence in perioperative medicine” will be held from 26 to 29 March.

It will cover current best practice across a broad range of topics in perioperative medicine along with providing a range of workshops on Friday, Sunday and Monday of the program.

The symposium includes a virtual meeting day on Saturday 27 March and optional workshops.

Please note to attend the workshops, you must register for the virtual symposium day.

The scientific program will be held as an all day virtual meeting on Saturday 27 March and will cover a broad range of topics.  The day will consist of pre-recorded sessions and live panel discussions. If you register for the one day symposium and are unable to attend on the day, the virtual platform will remain open for 12 months.

In addition to the symposium there will be a number of workshops held on Friday, Sunday and Monday at The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Austin Health, Melbourne. These are hospital based workshops covering key skills and scenarios in medicine. Workshops range from cardiac arrest, CPET, simulation and transthoracic echo. Please refer to the program for the full list of workshops and the workshop summaries for further information.
